Bristol Community College is a two-year community college that offers associate degrees as well as a transfer program for students to earn credits toward transfer to other colleges. BCC offers over 90 academic programs that allow the students to earn an associate degree of science, associate degree of arts, associate of applied science, or a certificate. Enrolls approximately 6,700 day and evening students.
-Educational programs in liberal arts and sciences with an emphasis on practical, employment-oriented education in allied health, engineering and technology, and business; and workforce development from adult literacy to advanced technology skills. -Also offers comprehensive developmental education and adult literacy services in a learner-centered community. -Recruits and trains college students to provide one-on-one tutorial services to struggling youth who have reengaged in second chance educational programs. -The Coordinator of Tutoring provides informational sessions for students enrolled in local education programs. -The college also assists with translation of policies and procedures for the school district.
The College maintains active partnerships with business and industry, public schools, colleges and universities, and social service agencies in order to maintain relevance and effectiveness of credit and noncredit programming.
