halfway house for men and women

Clayton House is a 15-bed halfway house for men or women with a history of substance abuse. Residents are required to work at least 35 hours/wk, and participate in a structured treatment program every evening and every weekend. Maximum stay is 6 months.
Eligibility: Ages 18+; dual-diagnosis accepted; must have documented period of abstinence
Fee: Set/sliding scale
Payment: Medicaid; Medicare; private insurance; private pay

Application: Referral from intensive treatment facility or self-referral with verification of sobriety for 30 days prior to admission. There is a waiting list and applicants must call every Monday morning and be able to document sobriety in order to maintain waitlist status.
