Domus operates the Bridge Indpendent Living Program for older DCF-referred youth and Domus House and Passages for younger DCF-referred youth.
Bridges is an apartment-based transitional living program provides rental subsidy and supports for youth 18-23 who are DCF-referred. DCF provides the rental subsidies. Domus provides case management and support services. Capacity is 13. Few slots are currently filled in the program because DCF is case-managing youth directly.
Domus House and Passages are group homes for boys between the ages of 14-20 referred by DCF who would otherwise be homeless. Each residence has eight slots. Youth can stay from between six months to four years, until they graduate from post-secondary education or age out of care.
