Site Description The Skillman Street Holder Station is comprised of two parcels of land located in Brooklyn, New York, Kings County. The site is located at 7 and 39 Skillman Street. The manufactured gas holder and associated buildings operated at the site from at least 1887 until sometime between 1918 and 1935. The current land use for the parcels includes industrial and manufacturing. The SC work plan has been approved. However, as of October 2008 field work has not begun, pending completion of an access agreement with the current site owner.
