TOPIC: Indoor/outdoor wood boilers

Throughout NYS when smoke gets bad for surrounding neighbors from a OWB (Outdoor Wood Boiler) NYSDEC will come in and shut the offending boiler down due to opacity. The polluter then turns around and installs a Indoor boiler. The Indoor boiler is just as bad in terms of opacity. NYSDEC wont do anything if the boiler is located within the residence. They say they cant for various reasons. The ironic thing is the chimney is still being vented to the outside. Still harming the neighbors clean air. This doesn't make any sense at all . It is criminal for a government agency to ignore the health and harm of its citizens.
